The Peninsula London Appoints Susan Wheatley
The Peninsula London is delighted to announce the appointment of Susan Wheatley as Director of Sales & Marketing, as of 1 September 2021.
With almost 30 years of international luxury hospitality experience, Susan has forged her career in the commercial divisions of some of the world’s great hotels, including Burj Al Arab and Raffles Dubai and Grosvenor House, London. As Executive Director in charge of luxury sales for FRHI Hotels and Resorts, she led an international team covering China, Europe, UK, and USA for the company’s three brands.
Susan joins the pre-opening team of The Peninsula London where she will oversee the strategy and direction of the entire sales and marketing division – including brand marketing, e-commerce, communications, catering and events, revenue management and distributio nstrategy.
Susan holds a BSc Hons in Hotel Management from the University of Surrey, UK. An active contributor to the local business community, Susan is a former member of the board of the British Business Group in the UAE and founder member of the Capital Club, Dubai.

Destination restaurants will tempt visitors to taste new dishes and savour familiar fare; The Peninsula Spa will provide revitalising wellness and beauty treatments; and a grand ballroom will play host to London’s most glamourous events.
The Peninsula London also features a one-storey shopping arcade, with a total of nine retail shops providing over 1,100 sq m shopping spaces to all discerning style seekers.
