Mercure Kraków Fabryczna City Opens Doors for First Guests



Mercure Kraków Fabryczna City has opened its doors for the first visitors. This is another hotel of Accor, world leading hospitality group, joining bellowed Mercure brand. Located in historic buildings with almost 100 years of history of a former distillery, the hotel is part of Fabryczna City – a brand new place in Kraków. The opening of entire complex with a conference centre and museum is scheduled for spring 2022.

An industrial loft in the centre of historic Kraków

195-room Mercure Kraków Fabryczna City is located at Fabryczna Street 13 and is part of the Fabryczna City complex. The design of the facility refers to its unique location in the revitalized area of the POLMOS State Vodka Factory. Operating under the Mercure brand, hotel reflects the local atmosphere of bustling industrial Krakow.

Each Mercure hotel has a different theme and design, but it is always inspired by local culture. Mercure Kraków Fabryczna City is the second hotel of the brand in Krakow, and after completing the conference part, it will also be the largest conference and congress complex in the Accor’s portfolio in the capital of Małopolska. This is a unique investment, thanks to which guests will be able to experience Kraków from a completely new perspective – says Jacek Stasikowski, Development Director Poland, Accor.

New hotel offers 195 modern and exquisite rooms, including 10 suites, 34 interconnecting rooms and 49 spacious rooms with a sofa and a kitchenette. Each room has a fridge, safe, high-speed WiFi connection and a comfortable place to work.



The hotel space has been designed with the diverse needs of guests in mind. It is ideal place for both business travellers and those, who are looking for comfortable solutions for long stay. However Krakow primarily attracts tourists and families with children. The wide offer of the Fabryczna City complex awaits them especially, including spacious hotel rooms and apartments with an equipped kitchen and a separate bedroom, concept restaurants of many flavours, as well as a swimming pool with a wellness area, saunas, a salt cave, and soon also a fitness facility – adds Joanna Chwastek-Pluta, Mercure Kraków Fabryczna City General Manager.

New culinary concept

The hotel restaurant Destilo is one of the gastronomic concepts available in the passage. In the factory loft, guests can enjoy the delicacies of Galician cuisine, prepared with local agricultural products. Stylish interiors finished with brick, wood and elements of the former factory create a unique atmosphere for meetings with family and friends.



Along with the hotel in Pasaż Fabryczna 13, five unique restaurants with Polish, Italian, Asian and vegetarian cuisine, a wellness centre with a swimming pool and a salt cave will open. The complex also includes the Nowa Wytwórnia craft brewery with locally brewed beer.

Place for relax, rest and rejuvenation

In addition to the rich Mercure Kraków Fabryczna City offer, the complex provides many attractions, both for travellers and Krakow residents. The area of approximately 1,500 m2, space has been created for the sports and recreation lovers. There is also a luxurious pool area and boutique fitness centre in premium standard being developed as well. For the local communities awaits a special offer of group and individual trainings, inhalation and relaxation sessions and much more.

Mercure Kraków Fabryczna City is located between two main communication arteries of the city, which allows easy access from all districts of Krakow. The location in the heart of the city enables quick transport to commercial and service areas, public utility centres and the entire cultural and entertainment offer of the capital of Małopolska.

The investment is located 10 km from the A4 highway running through Kraków and 20 km from the International Airport in Kraków-Balice. In addition to the well-connected road and public transport, the area is equipped with a developed network of bicycle paths. The historic Old Town and the Main Market Square are within a 15-minute walk, and the old Jewish district of Kazimierz is only a 10-minute walk away. The drive to the main station takes 8 minutes, the Tauron Arena is 5 minutes away, the Expo fair centre in 10 minutes, and the ICE congress centre is 15 minutes away. The next stage of launching the complex is the opening of conference space together with the Vodka Factory Museum, planned for the spring of 2022. The Conference Center covers a total area of ​​almost 3,500 m2, in which there will be 10 modern equipped business rooms.

Undoubtedly, one of the greatest attractions of Fabryczna City will be the multimedia Vodka Factory Museum, with the great 100-year history from the establishment of the State Spirits Monopoly Plant to the heyday of the POLMOS Distillery.
