Conde Nast Traveler, a media travel brand with some 7.5 million global readers and followers, announced its annual “Readers’ Choice Awards”, naming Raffles Istanbul the “3rd Best Hotel in the World” and “Top Hotel in Turkey & Greece.”
We are also delighted to share that Istanbul came 5th in the “Best Big Cities in the World” as selected by Conde Nast Traveler readers. Every year for the Readers’ Choice Award survey, Conde Nast Traveler asks readers to rate their travel experiences around the world and share their opinions on their top hotels, resorts, cities, islands, spas and more. Individual readers’ votes and feedback determine the ratings. Raffles Istanbul is the only hotel from Turkey listed among Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2021’s “50 Best Hotels in World”.
The hotel offers breathtaking views of the Bosphorus, Prince Islands and the city’s historic peninsula. The chic, design-focused property, located in the electric Zorlu Center where high fashion, performance and art converge, is a luxury oasis in the heart of Istanbul. The hotel offers 136 guestrooms, 49 suites and 66 Raffles-branded Residences, as well as the acclaimed Raffles Spa, meeting and event spaces, two restaurants including award-winning Pan-Asian Isokyo restaurant, and the brand’s heritage Long Bar, in an homage to the original Long Bar at Raffles Singapore. The hotel’s commissioned art collection of more than 200 pieces can be explored through an exclusive ‘Art Walk’ organized for guests and visitors.
This is the fifth time that the magazine has featured Raffles Istanbul in a coveted ranking; in 2015, the property was named in the “Hot List”, an editors’ choice of new, transformative hotels, which noted the hotel’s impressive facilities, contemporary art collection and stunning views on the Bosphorus. The hotel went on to receive Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards in 2017, 2018 and 2020. Since its opening in 2014, Raffles Istanbul has received priceless awards and accolades, including the Forbes Travel Guide 5 Star Rating.
