Perched on the highest point of Raffles Bali, the name ‘Rumari’ means the house of the sun and the full moon, a place of true celestial beauty right on the cusp of Jimbaran Bay. Led by Executive Chef Gaetan Biesuz, the restaurant presents the finest Indonesian dishes in contemporary style. Krug’s story began in Reims in 1843 with Joseph Krug, a visionary non-conformist with an uncompromising philosophy. Having understood that the true essence of Champagne is pleasure itself, his dream was to craft the very best Champagne he could offer, every single year, regardless of annual variations in climate. Six generations of the Krug family have perpetuated this dream, enriching the founder’s vision and savoir-faire. Rumari joins JAAN by Kirk Westaway at Swissôtel The Stamford, Singapore’s very first Krug restaurant Ambassade, and Accor’s first venue in the region to receive this prestigious title in 2016. Helmed by Chef Westaway, the two-Michelin star restaurant offers an elevated reinterpretation of British gastronomy through a modern and innovative culinary lens. JAAN by Kirk Westaway’s dining experience is further enhanced by the breath-taking view of Singapore’s scenic landscape, as well as the truly exquisite culinary service experience that have become the hallmark of this multi-award winning restaurant.
Rumari at Raffles Bali is celebrating this prestigious win with a Krug Degustation Dinner available at any of the resort’s dining destinations: The Purnama, The Secret Cave or The Farm Terrace.
