Accor Ambassador Korea Awarded Best French Korean Partnership
Accor Ambassador Korea, one of the leading international hotel operators in South Korea, was awarded the Best French Korean Partnership 2022. The award was presented by the French Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) at the 2022 General Assembly and the French Business Awards Ceremony, which was held at Fairmont Ambassador Seoul on 13th April 2022.
The ceremony brought together French and Korean companies to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the French-Korean business community. Six companies were awarded for their remarkable actions during the event.
Every year, FKCCI and hundreds of French and Korean companies work on bringing both countries together through innovation and business. In 2020 and 2021, these efforts allowed more than ever the French-Korean business community to adapt, improve and grow despite the sanitary crisis. For the upcoming years, FKCCI will further strengthen partnerships to extend network opportunities for members as well as welcome more business delegations from France and assist Korean companies venturing in France.
“Accor is a global group but it is local knowledge that allows us to deliver the best hotel experience in each country we operate. For 35 years, since we started our joint venture with the Ambassador group, our success in South Korea has been because we work closely with local teams who know the country well. We are grateful to receive this award as it recognizes our efforts to be locally relevant and empowering our teams to operate within their own cultural and geographical boundaries. We are proud to be part of the driving force in the growth of South Korea’s tourism industry and are so excited to offer limitless experiences across our hotels,” said Vincent Lelay, Vice President Operations, Accor South Korea.
Accor Ambassador Korea Hotel Management Co., Ltd is a joint venture company between Ambassador Hotel Group and Accor, a French multinational hospitality group that offers unique experiences in 5,300 properties across 110 countries. Since 1987, the strategic joint venture has helped amplify the positioning of both hospitality groups in South Korea.
Accor Ambassador Korea currently operates 26 hotels and three serviced residences across 11 brands in seven destinations. The Group commits to further strengthen its footprint in the country with six projects under development in the next two years.
